In the public area of Chengdu SKP Mall, we have specially designed a set of play facilities for children. With the most considerate care and love for children as the starting point, we have created an indoor play space full of innocence by combining a whimsical "Happiness Factory" theme with an immersive play experience. The narrative of producing joyful memories links the equipment together, creating a space where children can immerse themselves in fun and wonder.
From the equipment to the railings, fun industrial elements combined with scene details vividly interpret the thematic narrative, creating an all-around magical, dreamlike, and energetic immersive atmosphere. The journey begins at the entrance with an energy canister-shaped shoe cabinet, which symbolizes the start of the happiness production process. Pipeline lights guide the way through playful "experiments," leading to slides that transport children to a colorful ball pit. Turning a valve sets a carousel in motion, presenting a fairy-tale world brimming with joy.
Child-friendly design is reflected in every corner and detail. Warm, low-saturation colors are used throughout to create a cozy and comfortable environment. All play equipment features rounded corners and full soft packaging to ensure the safety of children during play. The designer customized the facility specifications according to the scale of children, allowing them to naturally integrate into the fairy-tale play world and enhance their sense of immersion. Simple pathways also improve the accessibility of the site. Moreover, educational toys are cleverly integrated into the overall facility design, with interactive mini-games embedded in railings, seats, and other places, enriching the playfulness of the space and promoting learning through fun. Children can grow through exploration. Dedicated seating for parents is also provided within the space, allowing them to relax and enjoy the time spent with their children.
